You may or may not know that March is Kidney Awareness Month. A month set aside to acknowledge those who have been recipients or donors of kidneys. Today I had the pleasure of participating in a charity event entitled Celebration of Life. The proceeds from the event went directly to two families who have experienced kidney transplants. I wrote this poem in their honor....
